In the Solo Queue list, I only see one Death Knight in the top 50.

They're not, it's just that war/pala/sham/priest are so good they push every other class out of the top spots.
Because Blizzard nerfed DK too much in S7, and Scourge Strike used to hi 5-7k shadow damage only, and now hits 1k on a hpala. Thats why.
Because dk crits are nerfed to the point of broken. On warmane crits happen every 80 years with coming of halleys comet.
I feel like UH DK is very strong in the mid tier bracket because the spec is very easy to play, deals lots of dmg and can take a lot of dmg.
But in the competitive play it doesn't deal enough burst dmg to be on par with Awarr for expl.
Frost DK would bring the burst dmg that UH is missing but it has other issues.
Best DK comb ever was Frost + Hpala on patch 3.3.5b.
Warmane wotlk is an animal for itself.
Udk should be op vs any class in this expansion.
Here we have unkillable retris that heal like holy and can burst down any class, arms warrior that has every second hit crit and selfheals like its resto to the point it totally cancels out dk dots.
Because wotlk pvp was never balanced for endgame icc/rs gear & shadowmourne. There needs to be rebalancing, but warmane won't do that for whatever reason.
DK is easily A tier arena class, it's just that there aren't that many good/top dks out there so you won't see them in the top 50 every season unless one of the few decides to play in it
I don't think it's a skill issue because DK is a quite easy class.
Other melee such as enh shami or feral druide require much more skill to master.
Fact that it's easy to begin with is what makes it harder to master/get really good at, otherwise every DK would be 2.5K - 3K like the few top dks no?
There are no "few top dks", basically it's only ONE in 2s top-50. And it's obvious that dk as class lacks damage. And survivability isn't that great too. Equally geared warrior survives longer under any caster pressure and does much more damage, how can that be so?
It's beginning of a season, and like I said there's just a few of them depending on if they decide to que or not, also you're deluded if you think warrior is more tanky against spell casters, dks also do far more burst dmg than warriors, warriors just have more 'constant' dmg than any other class, this thread is starting to stink of 1.7k rated players lol

I totaly agreee with you. Was playing DK as main to 2017 and then i stoped. I come back qued into arena getting delete vs any Warr /hpala combo. Then i created my self warr on blakrock and donate SM on it. Also full started gear with SM i swear easy won every dk/Hpala or with dpriest /DK combo. It is just funny and unreal.
