What's the best class to beat a bis ret paladin?

I play alliance and run around as any of these classes arp prot warrior, 1.4k resi balance druid, relentless shadow priest, for farming, herbs & cloths. I tend to run into places run by mafias and they would camp these places like 16 hours a day and most of them I can work around by just doing druid things and taking the herbs & ores anyway, then running away. But there's this one area that's run by another gang that I really want to take care of, because most of the time it's impossible to pick up anything and move on, like 99% of the time it turns into a fight. It's hard to get people to gather and help out, being alliance, so I really only have myself. Any of the classes I mentioned above is definitely enough to kill a bis ret pala, but the problem is there's always TWO of them, and they're fully raid-buffed, with from what I've seen, even more buffs I've never seen before, like these 3 rune buffs that reduce damage and there's also one that heals them whenever they deal damage.

So what's the best class to just delete one bis pvp-geared shadowmourne ret pala completely jacked with raid buffs & rune buffs real quick, make a getaway, or possibly kill the other one? If I had 1 minute alone I could kill one, but I can never stay alone for more than 30 seconds, so really I only have that much time.

I realise it won't mean I'll be able to gear this class immediately, but it's just good to know there's a class to use for this particular scenario, because I thought I could delete everybody in most cases before, but I've never had to fight 2 jacked palas playing tag team for so often per day before.

I was thinking maybe it's an arp blood dk, or 2 bis combat rogues doing killing spree?

I didn't know this was GTA now with gangs controlling areas and stuff lol

Anyways, the best anti-pala class is frost mage.

The best? i think shadow priest is better than frost mage for deleting palas. if you want to know for sure go blackrock and create a ret paladin. only people to duel you are counter pretty much :D

As a feral druid I eat them alive.

Hi all thanks for the replies. I haven't tried my feral druid yet, because I for sure think paladins can use cds to last more than 30 seconds against me. May I know if you are using super low resilience? Maybe that's why you can beat them quick?

And frost mage, I actually thought about mage before but wasn't confident it can speedily kill a pala xD Can it really do it? What interested me was how I can have the exact same buffs if I just spellsteal them all.

I have 1k resil, I screw the with instant cyclone and heal myself, I slow them and keep range to use HoT's and back to form and annoy them, they fall fast.

Ret pala has bubble and other defensive CDs so I doubt that any class is able to kill him in 30 sec. I think it's impossible when the ret is full raid buffed and pvp geared.

Against two rets I think that Hunter would have the highest chance to beat them on the open field. Repentance has only 20 yd range while the hunter can shoot on a 41 yd range. So technically it should be possible to kite two rets on max range and they won't be able to reach you.

Everybody gangsta until they actually have to beat a skilled ret in-game.

A Hunter would struggle against one good Ret outside of arena. Hand of Freedom + Nitro Boosts, for example, and the Hunter is done.

Frost Mage, Shadow Priest, Affliction Warlock. Any of them do extremely well.

Yea I realise that if they're awake then I can't kill them in 30 seconds. They can just bubble, an extra 5 seconds of cc if i happen to trinket one. and it definitely takes some hammering to bust through sacred shield, which is why I thought maybe...a blood dk with arp gear? For that ambush. Maybe element of surprise is the only thing I have

@mercy actually I think where this zone happens to be I think I can troll them super bad as hunter but I definitely cannot kill them still xD

Divine Shield can be dispeled. yeah they can be roflstomped like anything else.

I think the opposite is the case. The ret has a territorial advantage inside the arena because he can hump the pillar to recover. On the open field the ret can't hide behind objects to recover his health and a hunter who knows how to kite will just outrun the ret. Even if the ret is able to reach the hunter with nitro boost the hunter can pop deterrence followed by trap, scatter shot, disengage, etc. Hunter has just so many emergency abilities to get out of dangerous situations.
And what if the Hunter has nitro boost too? Makes it even harder for the ret to reach the hunter whatsoever.

Pillars and LOS in general aren't exclusive to arena. There's no reason the ret should want to fight without it available unless they're sure they can crush the target. Deterrence immediately would stall the situation for a moment, but the trap gets trinketed if it's the freeze trap. The ice trap is still nullified by freedom. Scatter Shot Disengage might buy you time, but the engage with the nitro boosts forces you to use CDs that you would need in a longer fight, which any ret should be prepared to drag the fight out. A Hunter has a lot of tools, but a Paladin has just as many.
What if the Hunter has nitro boosts too? Better be quick at activating them, otherwise they'll be rendered useless by JoJ.
