Onyxia and Blackrock arenas merge.
Crossrealm arenas between Onyxia and Blackrock is just going to be a ****show. This is a terrible idea and it gives a HUGE advantage to Blackrock players over Onyxia players ONLY if both players are on the same level.
Onyxia players will have to go through forming a raid - killing bosses - dropping x loot - getting the desired x loot. Meanwhile players on Blackrock who are on the same rating as me, can get that desired x loot through arena points/rating.
I wouldn't want other players on Blackrock getting x loot through arena points and rating while i have to sweat and pray for mine on Onyxia.
This will only affect PvP players who are on the same level (advantage to Blackrock players). A bad player on Blackrock will still get stomped by a good Onyxia player, doesn't matter what gear that Blackrock player has, and vise versa.
Keep Onyxia as it is, with its own player base, and you can keep Blackrock TBC to whoever wants to hop there and do some pvp against new players.
You guys are making decisions on Onyxia TBC PvP while it hasn't even been out yet.
Why would I PvP on Onyxia when I can get the same rating on Blackrock FACING Onyxia players WHILE having a 100% drop chance on x loot through my rating and arena points?
What about that Onyxia player who has the same rating as me, why can't he also have a 100% drop chance on x item through his rating and arena points?
I don't think you guys understand the SLIGHT difference in gear can make in high rated arena games.
Please keep the two realms seperate, or else Onyxia is going to turn into a PVE realm.
I personally will switch over to PvP on Blackrock and only PvE on Onyxia if both servers stay merged. (A pure Onyxia PvP player will just switch over to Blackrock and not even bother doing PvE on Onyxia)
Why would I bust my head off on Onyxia to clear raids - drop loot - have a chance at getting x loot, GRIND arenas to get high rated, when I can just play arenas on Blackrock FACING Onyxia players and have a GUARANTEED chance to get my desired x pve item through my rating?
I'm speaking for the majority.
All of this is coming from a high rated arena player.
If this was only going to affect me, I wouldn't care since I like a little bit of challenge.
If both servers do not get merged, I'll still play on Blackrock at some point since i'll like to face new players.
