Channelling spells are not cancelled by the ESC button

I don't know if it's a bug or it was like that in 3.3.5, but channeling spells are not cancelled when I press the ESC button (for example, Penance or Hymn of Hope). Normal casts are cancelled normally. Can you tell me how to fix this or what command can I enter into a macro for this? It's not always possible to move to cancel because I can be immobilized.

UPD: I created a separate macro with the /stopcasting command, but it also does not cancel channeling spells, WTF??

Correct me if wrong but I think moving to cancel a spell works even if you're immobilised.
