So i´ve been in Arcatraz with a tank pala, warrior tank gear dropped and i actually queued as tank/dps.
Rolled, won and now i have been banned 5 days?
Now we all know that Pala needs spell damage on their gear to sufficiently tank at all, but as it seems, whether the group i was in nor the GM who worked this ticket understood.
By that logic, i think 90% of the population should have been banned already? What is this?
What you queue as is irrelevant, only the role you are in the run matters.
For you to have received a ban either you were in the group as Damage but took Tank gear or the ban is about something else.
It says ninja looting 5 days.
And this has nothing to do with ninja looting, that would be to outright steal items by turning master on right before mob kill and taking all items, this on the other hand is neither ninja nor me just needing an item to sell it.
And nowhere is written what i am allowed to roll or not, the game provides the rules and allows me to roll on this item while disallowing me to roll on other items. Simple as that.
This ban is absolutely arbitary and stands in no context to any readable rules.
I´d understand if i rolled blade of wizardry, but the **** do i get a 5 day bann for actually needing an item i actually need?
It doesn't matter what you were queued as, what matters is what you were chosen to play as in that dungeon, and if you were dps and rolled need on tank gear then what you did was against the rules, which I don't think you read
Are you sure that's the incident that got you banned? It may have been another incident 1-3 days ago (ticket wait time). If not longer time ago.
Based on you stating you queued as tank/dps and then proceeding to teaching people way smarter than you what makes sense and what doesn't, plus completely disregarding server rules regarding looting, I'd say that 5 day ninja ban is gonna happen again, only next time it's gonna be noticeably longer.
The rules were introduced to streamline the various roles in dungeons. Tanks roll tank gear, healers roll "healer" gear more or less, dps roll dps gear. Otherwise what you get is tanks getting screwed out of their gear, leveling up and getting into harder dungeons with next to no gear upgrades and then getting spammed with "uH pApEr TaNk BrOoOo". Now just copy-paste this statement, replace the dungeon role and the stupid statements in the quotes for the respective other dungeon roles, and you get the very dungeon experience the rules are meant to prevent.
Quite honestly - pipe down, walk the ban off(or take the time to read the server rules), come back and do better next time.
