is blackmailing bannable?

"Delete all your toons within 24 hours or getting mass reported"

A player said to me that he is going to mass report me for botting if I don't delete all my toons. I dont worry about getting banned because any GM can see Im not a bot. The reason why he is mad at me is because 3 of my toons have the same name as him with 1 or 2 letter difference. At first I ignored him without putting him on ignore list. But then he started following me around, spamming trades and party invites, he seems like a desperate creep. I talked to him and told him that the server is very old and most names are already taken but he didnt get it. I also searched his name on the forum and it appears that his account was made in 2013 but he behaves like someone very young. Which made me think that his account might be bought or stolen, but no proof.


My question is, whats warmanes policy for blackmailing? Is it bannable or the GM will tell me to ignore him? I havent made a ticket yet.

Blackmailing relies on them having something real against you and threatening to use it if you don't comply. If things are as you describe, and they have nothing against you, that's as hollow as the people who say they will report someone if they don't give them some item. They didn't steal your account and are threatening to delete everything if you don't pay them real cash or have your real life information and are threatening to make it public. It is, yes, a case of /ignore and move on, as the only thing you have to worry about is if they report you and you have been botting like they say.

Im not botting, I never had. But for example if 20 accounts make a ticket on me at the same time and the GMs find nothing on me, will these 20 accounts get banned? Isnt this coordinating harassment?

How is it harassment? If the GMs were to find it harassing to receive repeated reports it would be one thing, but how exactly is your life or gameplay being hindered by something that won't go through you in any way?
