Gathering The Cure quest

Hi, does anyone know why I can't turn this quest in?

Sold my Earthrooth to the shop and bought them back. Worked as a solution to sort of "update" the quest. Apparently herbing Earthrooth isn't fully recognized as aqcuiring the items.
