Hello guys, i'm a total newbie to DK dps, i'm learning how to tank with a blood/frost spec (dual buffs) but wanted to add an offspec and thought about a dps one to complete my set. However, can't decide about which one to prefer. I tried frost and liked it, however i feel fdk is not that much needed in raid and most of the time the uhdk seems to be preferred.
That being said, which one do you think is should go for? Stick to frost or going to uh (maybe on DW build)?
Frost is perfectly fine and as you said, demand for it has dropped since every dk tank have icy talons these days.
Unholy is the best choice, imo dont go for dual wield and whatever, stick to good old stuff, you and everyone around you will have less headache.
Frost DPS is nice and all, though you'll get asked if you have unholy frequently. PUG's probably won't care as much about your specs. Guild runs it may become a slight issue, though they probably expect you to tank more.
Frost is solid pretty good, if your main spec is tank as you will be able to dps on some of the bosses in icc. Frost is also often very nice for 10mans.
