Hello! Does anyone there have any idea what is wrong with my WoW client. It seems to be max capped at 75 though I've done every tweak possible. I've already set the config file in the WTF folder, turned off V-sync. I'd like to mention that I'm using these patches "https://forum.warmane.com/showthread.php?t=464195" and my Rig is very pumped up. Does anyone have any sugestions which cold help me fix this problem? Thank you all!
Right click wow:exe file (the one you click to start the game) properties and make sure to allways launch the game as administrator.
Search bar on windows - search energy settings and change it to performance (energy saving is normally standard even for desktops)
Ingame graphics - multisampling - set to lowest, this setting smoothes out edges but you will not even notice the difference and it's also a rather big fps thief.
This game is also very cpu heavy not gpu and one massive fps stealer is rendering in other players, it dosen't matter what monster pc you have since the game itself is also so old with it's optimisation etcetc so in dalaran id say 75 fps at peak times is solid.
Thanks, for the suggestions. I've done everything that you said already. The thing that "fixed" this fps cap limitation was "https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/releases/tag/v2.6.1" Now it's fixed and it's working as it should.
