Switch Realm Name to BlackRock-Arena?

So the first day of this season, everyone gets to buy all the Black Temple chests/Hyjal with honor. Then it switches couple days later to be fully gatekeep by Arena rating. Why is this server called PVP when in reality its all the best gear is Arena based. Does everyone love Arena or am I the only one who enjoys battlegrounds more than Arena. Suggestions.

Bring back the questline like in Season2/Phase2 where you can at least do 5-6 quests that are involved in Battlegrounds to get 5-6 chests.

What's the value of playing in Battlegrounds? there's 0 quests to do for it. The only thing I can think of is you get the offset Top Tier PVP gear but then what else after that?? honor has no use besides buying enchants/gems/profession items but my issue is anyone who is a premade group for Arena or is just legit good at playing/winning arena is going to get all the nice raiding gear AND top tier pvp gear, how is that fair? why is there an arena rating for raiding gear??

Now if you want some nice gear from the EndGame vendor, what does battlegrounds get you, simply 1 box from each of those Raid Questlines. Why even let us buy one box that's so silly imo

So now your forced to play Arena, lots of my friends were thrilled when we saw the progressive chests where you buy the first one, get a key, buy the second one, get the next key etc because finally we could do battlegrounds and actually get rewarded for that completely and all have a chance at some nice high level raiding gear. then it got taken away so quick.

I fully understand that "Arena PVP Top Tier Gear" should be gatekeeped by Arena Points, but why Raiding gear, why is that in the same category? I mean keep the warglaives and the T6 Chest/Legs gatekeeped by why everything else?

Atleast keep it the way it is but add a questline for peeps who want to do battlegrounds and can get some of the gear. Curious what everyone elses thoughts are. Arena is so hit and miss whether you get a good team, someone trolling and just raging after one person dies, or they get caught out so just leave right away then you get a nice juicy loss. takes ages unless you know a pro you can que with(or your forced to play a warrior rogue priest druid meta..but what if your a hunter..or pally..or an off meta class???) thx and hope others feels the same

Season 1 and 2 were nice I could get boots, legs chest, some nice top tier raiding gear, now all I get is one silly box from Black Temple and Hyjal and am FORCED to play in arena and get a rating. huh?

Honestly, I’ve always preferred BGs over arenas — barely touch arena myself. The whole BG quest system was a bad move. Most people just rush to finish quests, which ruins the game. Like in EOTS — zero bases capped, everyone just blindly chasing the flag. Or Arathi — Alliance and Horde just taking turns tapping the flag. It’s a joke.

And now it’s even worse. You’re basically forced to play arena and grind rating — just for a chance to roll the dice on a loot chest? No thanks. At least with arena points, you could actually buy gear. Your effort meant something. Now? What’s the point?

I agree with the point of this topic. OK to "nerf" unboxing hyjal and BT chests only for honor. But, why... why a rating wall on T5 content? Lot of people just play to have fun doing some daily BGs and have chosen this server cause here it is(was) possible. It was possible to farm with honor PVE items to improve gear just to continue daily BGs fun. That's it. Now you forced everyone to play arenas to feel the gear improvement experience. Why?


Suggestioni: No arena rating for T5 chests. Let people Who dont want to push arena to keep having fun unboxing pieces to improve gear.

U guys are funny... u are forgetting that you are not only playing on Blackrock but you are also mixed with Onyxia server so ofc you are not gonna get free T5 and BT loot easely.... and btw 1k8 rating is nuts.... go learn to play and stop trying to get free glaives KEKW

Instead of wasting time with random comment, learn to read man.
Rating Wall for T6 chests it's OK but let people on blackrock trying once a week to drop T5 stuffs with Honor. Thats It.
Pushing 1850 atm from 0 with low equip only with 500 ap weekly...honestly...definetely not nuts. And also not fun for players that want to play BGs and not pushing arenas.
