Ongoing Lack of Support from Warmane GMs Despite Years of Donations
Dear Warmane Team,
I am writing this post out of deep frustration and disappointment regarding the repeated lack of support I have received from the GM team.
I have been playing on Warmane for approximately 3–4 years now and have donated around $500 during that time. I never asked for assistance until recently – but when I finally did need help, I was consistently met with the same generic response: "Unfortunately, we cannot support this issue."
One recent example: I performed a faction change on my Blood Elf Paladin who had 739 farmed souls. After transferring to Alliance (Human Paladin), all souls were gone – reduced to zero. I opened a ticket and once again received the default reply: "Unfortunately, we cannot support..."
Another issue: I recently reached 5000 gear score, which now prevents me from queuing in the low bracket for twinking. Prior to this, I had 4946 and had no issues. Again, I opened a ticket and got the same message: "Unfortunately, we can't assist you."
This repeated pattern has left me wondering: Do GMs actually support players at all? Because from my experience, they seem to exist only to tell us what they can’t do – not to solve issues.
Whenever I donate, my money is gladly accepted. But whenever I encounter a real issue that negatively impacts my gameplay, I am met with indifference. This inconsistency is disheartening, especially for a long-time donor and loyal player who has supported the server for years without ever asking for anything in return – until now.
All I am asking for is fair treatment and genuine support when problems arise. I believe players deserve better.
