Current state of battlegrounds

so i have been tryin to do Isle of Conquest achievements for a quite long time now ive come to notice some weird phenomenons, which I think should be discussed about in general, when it comes to battlegrounds..

First I would want to point out recurring happening in BG's where I/others try to do achievements, play objectives, but instead they get votekicked out "for afking" due to not following the zergzerg train into brainless PvP without missions. Like if we CANT DO OBJECTIVES, just remove these bg's and achievements, and give people an empty room where they can run into each others. Maybe this kicking is also taking place due to premades being constant these days?

....which takes me to another issue, that is maliciously done premade's. I understand premades if they would work in normal sense, but seeing these matches here on Warmane I see them using multiboxers, and in Isle of Conquest its not rare to see them bug the boss so other team cant attack it. Well done, proud of them all.

I cant help but to wonder the mindset of people who que into random BG and then cry their eyes out because Strand of ancients or isle of conquest comes up, then they just troll whole game. Nice.
I cant help but to wonder the mindset of people who que into BG and then get mad at people not running into middle, ignoring everything there is in said particular BG taking place- just plain pvp. Should maybe noted that from these years of playing I am fairly certain this mindset is mostly present in plateusers, shadowmourne wielding 3 key pressers so.. guess it answers itself why.

This has been happening for years, also in AV. If you cap graveyards, so that they (we all know who) can't farm HKs, they get their entire premade to vote you afk the entire BG.

There is no problem to fix. This is the game. Players are free to make premades and have PvP guilds. Although there aren't so many premades as one might think, it's just a bunch of well geared players following the same meta. People just like to loosely throw out that label when the enemy team steamrolls them.

If you're getting flagged for afk and getting kicked after not engaging with the enemy for that period of time then you deserve it. There is no objective or achievement in battlegrounds that requires you to not engage for that period of time. On Isle of Conquest start there is no reason to sit in the base, you need to help your team on the initial push and if they push to your gate then you can defend. There's no reason to defend on start because nobody is there. Common sense. You're blaming everyone else, but this sounds like you're just a bad teammate.

wow I think i found one buyer of those premade's. Gee, cant you read? I get kicked out START. But ok, lets waste more time- IoC has been going on some time, enemy vehicles are rolling towards our base- I run to cannons, i get flagged for afk for SITTING IN CANNON SHOOTING ENEMY. Ok, I guess thats AFK these days? I am sitting at flag at docks, waiting for some targeted enemy to come closer for capping flag so I can protect it- Nopppe- again kicked out. So it seems the "meta" is that you must be constantly running mindlessly following the biggest group, and when one doesnt, you get afk flagged. How more sheep can you get

Make sure to leave the base at the start or Warmane's anti afk system will flag you as inactive and you'll get kicked.
If you want your cannon achivement, join the first fight and go back after.

Ya you're not making sense. You say kicked at "start" and then you say the battleground has now progressed and you're suddenly attacking enemies with an afk flag.

If I were to guess from what you've described though, you're just sitting in a cannon and waiting for honorable kills to get the achievement. Then you're trying to defend bases nobody cares about in the game for another achievement. And you can just say that. People relate to that because achievement hunting in battlegrounds is frustrating. The "Mine" achievement is quite rare.

But if that is the case then you either need some patience for the variables to line up eventually or make a group of like minded people to pursue those objectives. You'd be surprised how easy achievements become with even a small party of five players. Battlegrounds in general become way easier when you add good players to your friends list to queue with.

Achie's and bg's are two things that bother some players extremely much.
So don't get your hopes up, at least not on lordaeron!

No one gets "vote-kicked" out of Battlegrounds, players don't have that power (otherwise why wouldn't non-premade players all try vote the premades out?).
You get kicked out for not being involved in combat and idling for a period of time while chasing Battlegrounds achievements most people don't care about and won't change how they play so you can complete them.

Exactly, yet I was kicked out despite being in combat and it was not a server restart or even problems on my internet connection.

That said, some players may have found a way to kick people out, or I don't know what else that might depend on.

Getting kicked means being removed from the Battleground and sent back to the world.
Getting disconnected like you seem to be describing has nothing to do with it. Also, internet connections are some sort of binary "either it works perfectly everywhere or it's down completely." That should be obvious when even during "no problems on my internet connection" a webpage might load slower than others.

I know what it means to be kicked out during a bg, the explanation was not necessary.

Players actually can start votekicking players in BGs; Just click the faction icon near minimap, choose the player and click it- voila, an option comes up !

Which doesn't work because as soon as the player performs any action the kick timer is cancelled. Personally, I think a vote kick option in battlegrounds should exist.

This could lead players to kick others out indiscriminately, for no reason at all.

Which already can happen in RDF, and it seemingly is not an issue.
