Got access to stolen account after 6 YEARS

I started playing in 2016 and I made 3 80 lvl champs. I was 11 years old. I quit playing because I didnt want to farm items but some time ago i started thinking what it would be like to check a game again. And I did try but my e-mail was so old I didn't even know what it is. By chance I retrieved my dad's old email with was assigned to email my wow account was created so i got it back. I read all emails there and know my wow login. BUT i read also that someone changed my wow email to his, password was changed and someone tried to login to email (2019). I wrote to support and they retrieved all to my original email.
So here we are and my account WITH FOUR NEW 80 lvl champs with nice gear and with other champs at every server. So basically someone played at this account for 6 YEARS. I assume it could have been stolen and sold to him when the cheater got acces to email, perhaps its the cheater who plays himself. By the way I'm wonder because i want to contact this player, i did write even to email i had read before.

Be safe, btw someone really likes buying gold for real money, got even temporary ban for it.

It's like he stole an empty wallet from you, filled it with money, and then you stole it back from him once it was full. Not a story to celebrate from either side.

Potayto, potahto. An account with naked characters is worthless. What he got back was valuable and not his.

The account was his. Whoever put the "value" in the account did it with something stolen.
Only one person might not celebrate that level of poetic justice, and that's who was on the receiving end of it.

For some folks in internet u have to tell everything. My characters weren't naked, i had nice gear too (even if i was young lol scoregear above 5600) and some coins spent. Not only naked chars get hacked. I just didnt want to farm BETTER items xd
