Atiesh staff

So, I wanna know if it's true to these servers or not... And also if it's just true in general. I'm on Onyxia, and I wanna try to go for Atiesh on both my mages once i get them max level. I know it's like 2 and a half months to complete the quest chain on one character, roughly, and I don't know how much time there is before Onyxia goes to Wrath. But I read on google that with the official servers, if I have the quest chain already on a character when it transfers to Wrath, I could still complete it, I just couldn't pick up the original quest anymore cause it was removed.... Is that true, and if it is, is it possible to also do here? Cause if it is, then I'll just snag the quest on both my mages and work towards getting the staff, since I want it on them specifically just for a collection

I really doubt any of the mobs inside Naxxramas will continue dropping the necessary items.

Looking more into it, some info is saying if you're on like the last step or past the steps requiring the dropped items, including KT, it can still be finished... I just don't know if the info is right or not

If you are on the last step, you have all items and you are waiting to turn in the last quest, yes, maybe. But at that point why wouldn't you just turn in the quest?

Well I was just mainly trying to figure out if the quest was finishable or not after Wrath, because as I said, I have 2 mages I wanna try to get it on. But since Onyxia is predominantly Horde dominated, I don't know if I'd be able to get it finished on my Draenei mage or not, since I'd be working on it for my Blood Elf first

plus, i don't know how long this server will be in TBC. i keep getting varied answers

The answer is no. The items you need don't drop anymore when wotlk arrives.

I don't think there's an official answer regarding when wotlk will drop, but I assume around New Year's.

I see... so I guess I can only try for it on one mage...
