Support for a hardcore server is cool.

Doubtfully. The interest in those is very niche, way below what would make it an interesting investment. Plus players can simply challenge themselves with a "hardcore" character, set their own personal rules, and delete it on their own in case of death, there isn't any real need for a whole separate server for the few who would want that.
