Multiboxing warning when I don't multibox

First post here. I'm a Warmane noob and I play with my brother who lives in the same house. I played a bit in 2024, stopped, and returned a week ago, and he's been at it a couple years. I've got just one account but he multiboxes with 5 clients, usually we party together so it's his 4 and my 1. I just got this in-chat message while soloing though while he was on all 5: "We have detected excessive multiboxing. Multiboxing is limited to 5 clients in the open world. To avoid penalties make sure you limit the amount of clients to 5." He did not see this message pop up on his accounts, but I think it's possible that he could have missed it. We have different IP addresses.

What can I do about this? Just keep playing and see what happens, appeal to a mod if we do get penalized? Any possible easy fixes?

If you live in the same house you don't have different IP addresses. If he is on 5 accounts and you are on 1, that makes 6, which is against the rules.

Yeah that's what I was about to say . . . unless they had a second separate internet line run to their house (making two separate services).
