I was banned in the middle of a dungeon while I was playing normally. The only addon I was using is HealBot, which I have always considered an official healing addon. I did not know it was against the rules, especially since it can be found directly for download on the site.
I just want to clarify that I was not using any automation or bot program, only this healing addon.
I don't know why you were banned but it was not because of healbot.
Been using healbot for years. It's well known addon, and it's not something to get you banned. The fault is somewhere else.

It literally has "Bot" in the name. Next time, use your common sense before installing something and think if Warmane would be happy if they found out what you're using.
And yeah, people will say it’s just an addon, not a bot.
But remember, there was a player who managed to make a fully automated mage using only WeakAuras and addons (no third-party software involved). He was selling portals to Dalaran and accepting tips without any human intera. It still got banned for botting anyway.
It is just an add-on, and not one that used any mods like the "Amazing_wotlk" stuff. It's fully allowed in our servers.Quote:
