MS > OS or BiS > MS > OS ?
Which loot rule is considered the "default" ?
Most raids don't even announce their loot rules, so we naturally assume it's MS > OS. But then situations come up where the raid leader doesn't give the item to the person who actually won the roll, saying it's not BiS for them, and instead gives it to someone who rolled lower because it's supposedly their BiS item.
When I told the raid leader that he didn't mention "BiS prio", he responded with: "It's common sense".
Honestly, I feel robbed... The item was a major upgrade for my setup, but they gave it to someone who only got like a few spell power increase just to feel complete.
Should I report that player? Do GMs even care about so called BiS lists?
Is BiS priority actually considered an obvious rule? Because as far as I know, those BiS lists are just made by spreadsheet nerds. They're not some kind of universal truth. Also, strict BiS chasing limits the ability to experiment and develop character based on personal playstyle...
