Blackrock shoulders a8

On Blackrock (where most arena players come from), shoulders can be purchased for 2050 2v2, and most players simply have no reason to play 3v3 or soloque because the entire BIS gear is available for 2v2. Only T10/PVE shoulders sell for 2000 3v3, which is probably only useful for Proto Paladins, and even then, it's questionable.

I propose making A8 shoulders available only for 3v3/Soloque, not 2v2. This would increase player interest in these brackets and significantly increase the number of 3v3 and soloque players.

I wish Icecrown and lordaeron players could have such benefit like blackrock does with having A8 shoulders purchaseble by doing 2s. As much as i like 3v3 better, it's really hard nowdays having competent partners with high tolerance at win-lose matches.

I periodically see 3v3 players from icecrown or, more often than not, they just play 10 games to the cap. Your suggestion will only make matters worse. It's better to do the same for Blackrock as for icecrown and lordaeron.

yes. Although those same player are NOT EVEN hardcore competetive players, as you said, they only play for their 10 games and that's it. Again, making A8 shoulders accessible for every bracket is the better choice to make in a game where its pvp game mode is somewhat antique and outdated mostly because people don't want to gather more than two people for 3s and at some extent rejecting any social aspect whatsoever.

Well, it might be harder to find teammates on PvE realms, but Blackrock has a 250 Arena Points event on Sundays, and even that attracts people. Add to that the shoulder sales limit, and you'll see more people wanting to equip their character in BIS, which will either result in donations (which is also beneficial for server owners) or people looking for teammates and boosting their ranking. More people in the queue = more opportunities.

In reality, if we speak about the average pvp enjoyer. most pvp players won't be able to truly push 2k in 3s for shoulders, therefor their easy access is either push 2050 rating in 2s (specially in blackrock which is the only realm where you can get shoulders with 2s) or simply donating 23c. which most of the time people will simply choose donating since they know they can totally skip and bypass the whole process of pushing rating and play 3s. the 3v3 hour is certainly a good measure... but only at some extent xd

In the current reality, they can't reach 2k+ rating because it's mostly gladiators playing above 1.9. But if there were more players in the queue, those currently at 1.8-1.9 would move up to 2200-2400, and regular players could easily reach 2k for shoulders.
