There is no point in this.
You start as a lvl 55 already, xp will be boosted up to 5x (1-70)...
When the Paladin class was released, the "change class" option became available about a month later. Maybe you’ll be able to do the same, but only after some time.
Sorry, my bad, I make a "Race change" not "Class change"
Its not about just leveling, i mean also keeping all these achievements, titles, pets, mounts professions (including riding) etc.
You could say the same for many classes and specs from expansion to expansion. Warriors and rogues got shut out moving into TBC. Shamans/hunters/warlocks will face a purge going into Wrath. And ya definitely prot warriors were consolidated in TBC and now face their end.
With that said though offering it in one case would mean it needs to be available in all cases. Then it really becomes a major gameplay mechanic that's being altered where players are shopping around to fill whatever roster spot. No doubt it would be nice, but that's the complication I see. Aside from all the development work to implement something like that accurately.
that goes for every class, they are outliers not the norm.
Even retail didn't have such thing, and it isn't because it never occurred them or no one ever asked.
Ya you're going way off topic. You go from stacking warlocks 4-5 potentially in a raid to a more diverse roster where they're not a top priority or focus anymore. Raids take one as a buff possibly in 10 mans and roster spots in 25 man are getting filled with alternatives with the new balance of the expansion. It only gets worse as the game progresses.
It's not like you couldn't see this coming right?
Did someone force you to play warrior?
