Restore donated items being abused to sell characters with mailbox items
It seems that more and more Discord "trading" servers are offering so called "Mailbox items" Toons, I even saw some guys advertise "Mailbox Toons" in /2 and /5 global.
How does it work?
Accounts where items were donated on, are able to use the ticket function to restore missing items.
Why is it a problem?
First of all I want to say that such function per se is great to have if used as intended. It allows the player / original donator to restore an item that has been deleted by mistake and I can imagine this happens from time to time.
HOWEVER
more and more people have noticed, that items located in the mailbox do NOT raise the toons price by approx. 18 coins per BIS item when putting them on Warmane Trady market for sell.
This is resulting in sellers (most often to be found on some Discord servers) offering toons with 10, 15, (even saw one guy with > 20) mailbox items.
This creates a very unfair advantage (just calculate roughly 18 coins per item) and I cannot imagine this is working as intended, please state otherwise in case it is.
Possible solution:
restrict the "item missing" / item restore option to 1 item PER 30 days (dont offer the option to choose multiple items), so there can be max. 1 item for "free" in case ppl like to sell with a little goodie (much like the ashen ring reset thing, not explaining further).
Exploiters should then not be able to store a high amount of items in the mailbox and ruin the competition for "regular" sellers that simply cannot compete with such characters.
@ Admins: Feel free to delete my post in case you do not want this information to be spread but at least give me a short response so I know. I really think this is a huge problem for the economy but only you can see the real data.
FYI to anyone wondering: I own 2 accounts with self-donated legendary status, as I really like Warmane. This issue however is really bugging me. Same with account trading and Arena MMR dropping, which is even worse than Mailbox Toons... :-(
