Battlegrounds unplayable

Hello, this is Alex. I've been playing on Icecrown and Blackrock since 2019, and today I wanted to share my recent experience with Blackrock on my secondary account. To be honest, the gameplay experience has become really unplayable, especially in battlegrounds. I'm not suggesting a solution or asking for one, but I'm genuinely worried about the impact this is having on all of us at the expense of a minority.

Lately, queuing for battlegrounds feels very one-sided, with premade groups dominating and farming the graveyard. Just imagine creating a character on Blackrock and hoping to enjoy the game, only to spend 90% of your time being farmed in the graveyard. The response and solution that you often hear is to simply play somewhere else. However, this issue doesn't just affect Blackrock. I primarily play on Icecrown, and even there, when I queue for battlegrounds, I encounter the same one-sided battles.

When these premade groups face each other, the first one to suffer a defeat simply leaves, leaving other players in the queue to be thrown into this one-sided massacre.

Some may think that joining these premade groups is the solution, but that's not the case. By doing so, you're essentially enjoying the game at the expense of those who prefer to play alone or simply don't have the time or interest to join a party. Additionally, these premade groups, which I know have been around for a long time, are BIS PVP ( Or nearly). These days, they are more aggressive and disruptive than ever.

I recently came across a forum post where someone was trying to justify this situation, but that's okay. Eventually, people will become frustrated, and if nobody is queuing for battlegrounds, Blackrock will suffer even more. Perhaps at that point, something will be done. I can already anticipate the veteran members of the forum justifying how being farmed in the graveyard 90% of the time is somehow enjoyable.

Over the years you learn to adapt to the dogmades, i avoid fighting or even being within 100 yards of their farming blob at all costs and just skirt around the fringes of the bg picking off groups of 1-2 horde that wandered off. I can often finish at or near the top of the charts this way, without ever dying. I don't need honor though to be fair, so the losses don't matter to me.

Getting gy farmed is a choice that you don't have to make.

Onyxia is moving to Wotlk on December 22nd. Start leveling a toon now. The PvP there in a progression environment is a lot healthier for newer or casual players. You won't see the types of behaviors you describe which are the side effect of a very old never ending server.

Are you Horde ?

They dont care bro, new blackrock players and casual players dont pay a cent, these guilds and premades do

Battlegrounds feel rigged against me , I'm 2.2k in arenas on every character I have , I'm also full BiS I constantly get the worst team as alliance I even swotched to Horde and the same thing happened , like legit for some reason I get 5 rogues in my team all the time that just afk while we get steam rolled also for some reason the enemy team always has a premade group and 3 healers minimum while my team gets 0 healers I'm constantly top dmg and the top objective support player in the group and yet I still lose like 60% of the time something is off there I keep facing off an Unmerciful premade or guilds that do premades and I get a few people who are 4.8k gs and 3k gs like what the hell is going on? I'm full BiS and supposed to be in the high bracket 5.8k+ gs how can these lows even join with me? Something is off

It's simple math: if you don't play *with* a premade, chances are much higher that you will be playing *against* a premade.

The system, like everything else in WoW (and other MMOs at large), pushes you to cooperate and socialise with other players.

The do-nothing rogues is the biggest stands-out, doesn't matter Horde or Alliance, they literally spend the whole game wandering around in stealth just to land a couple KBs on low HP enemies, and do nothing else.

Hi friend, I totally understand you, I just created a topic on the subject of fair play PvP, since PvP on all servers is really unbalanced and unplayable, especially for the Horde. It would be nice if something started to be done about it, otherwise me and my friends plan to leave the server.

LoL a Blackrock player complaining. Mate you are starting geared up lvl 80 and you are complaining how it is not fair? I leveled few characters on Lordaeron and had to deal with all of the Blackrock instant lvl and gear guys in the arena and BGs... but you saying its not fair to you... Just learn to play mate, it is your fault that you can't kill them. I would say it is not fair to PVP crossrealm Blackrock which is instant 80 and Rele gear with server like Lordaeron where all Dungeons and Raids are much harder that the rest of the servers and everything is harder to achieve.... Just grow up and learn to play the game.

Again, this happens with my Icecrown chars also. Please explain to me how being Premade gy farmed is enjoyable and how ¨Just grow up and learn to play the game´´ changes this. Im listening.

How long you are playing doesn't matter at all. You could play for 15 years and still be a noob player. Pre-made groups are normal things, in Blizzard you have them there too. Friends or guild members make a group and fight together, here you have the advantage of a normal progression server and in Blackrock you have the advantage of instant 80-plus Relentless gear without doing anything for it. So choose what would be the least evil for you. I decided to play Lordaeron with harder bosses, dungeons, raids and fighting with no gear agains Blackrock players but slowly farming up my gear and making friends to do these premades. You made your choice for a good reason, I believe. Just that's life, mate.
