Is Battle Royal coming back this year?

I really enjoyed that special battle royal event last.
Is there any information out there if it's coming back?

Usually they post the christmas/new years stuff on the 24/25th

Battle royale mode is available right now

people hack the battle royale by hiding in a spot where storm doesnt hit them even tho they are in the storm, we were clearly within the circle and whole map was supposed to be storm and they somehow won, storm killed us. people hide on the other side of the mountain or something
