We are all walking in manually into heroics right now, if the requirements could be lowered or tweaked a bit please. To include SWP gear or smthn.
Yea, I am at avg iLvl 178 and still can't get in. Maybe they are the same values from Icecrown but that doesn't really make sense on a fresh WOTLK server
Well RDF wasn't actually available at the start of WoTLK.
You need an average item level of 180. Every slot though also has to be above a certain minimum.
In future expansions it's common for players to just buy items off AH or keep high item level items in their bags to bypass that system even if they won't use them. But the way it should work though is there's a progression before heroics. Level 78 rares are item level 187. These are crafted, are BoE drops, are dungeon quest drops, are high level normal dungeon drops, are reputation vendor items. Do a little research and you can find what gear you need quite easily.
A good place to start is the auction house where you might be able to snag a couple 200 item level BoE items for cheap. Then run Utgarde Pinnacle and Culling of Stratholme dungeon quests.
Heirlooms, greensand items like jewelcrafting trinkets are usually the reason you cant queue
I get it, but full SWP bis players shouldnt have problems, the gear is more than good enough and most pieces arent replacable before HC
EDIT: Currently replacing warglaives with two daggers to be able to queue.
