Unpopular opinion: fwarr is harder than people give it credit for
I've been laughed at a number of times for saying playing fury warrior is hard. People say it's a "smash your keyboard" spec with only 2 main buttons in its rotation, occasional third button for slam procs, and spamming 1 button over and over again i.e. heroic strike/cleave.
Having said that, there aren't many fury warriors that really know how to play the spec to its full potential in my observation i.e. truly maximizing dps. I remember thinking I've gotten the rotation down decently, only to be humbled by another fury in my raid with about 200 gs lower than mine but doing higher dps. It really hit me then that this "2 button spec" isn't as simple as it appears to be on the surface. Looking at parses on UwU really shows just how much damage you could really eke out on fury, and how few people actually attain those numbers.
Paradoxically, I've parsed better on specs considered more complicated in their dps rotations even with lower gear e.g. demo lock, feral cat, ret. My conclusion is fury is easy to pick up, but very hard to truly master.
