I was looking some bis pvp ret paladins and i have noticed that most of them are using RS25hc ring Signet of Twilight instead of one of two expertise ring so i was wondering is expertise not needed on ret ?

Assuming you are talking about Seal of Many Mouths and not any of the Strength rings from ICC25hc because those rings have too high of an Attack Power loss to be comparable. You're gaining 60 Expertise with Seal of Many Mouths. With Signet of Twilight, you gain 39 Attack Power, 5 Crit Rating, 7 Stamina, and 57 Hit (which you likely don't need). The stats are otherwise identical. 99.9% of the time I'm rolling with Signet of Twilight.
The reason Expertise isn't great is because of Holy Damage and other stats being way more worthwhile for rets. Expertise is basically like Armor Pen. Yeah you could go for it but it's just overshadowed by other stat priorities and not optimal
Nobody seems to use expertise, but I see so many dodges/parries when I play ret that it makes me wonder.
