[Ulduar Release] The Gates of the Titan City Open April 4

Greetings Warmane community,

The call to arms now turns north to the storm-swept peaks.

We are excited to announce that Ulduar will open on April 4 at 14:00 server time, unlocking this iconic raid. There will be no downtime and the raid will become instantly available at the time above. Grab your trusted allies, hone your strategies, and prepare to challenge the Titan keepers and the Old God lurking in the depths.

Content release
Onyxia will progress into its next content tier with this raid release.
The realm will smoothly progress into the next phase by unlocking the new vendors and instances and relevant content automatically.
The content will include Ulduar, related heroics and Vault of Archavon (Emalon)
Additionally, the realm first achievement for Ulduar will require the raid to clear all the Keepers on hard mode and then proceed to defeat Yogg-Sarron with zero Keepers assisting.
More details and information regarding the length of the content tier, the next raid to be released will be published in a new thread.

Battlegroup II – Season Continuation
Battlegroup II: Season Rewards and Rules

The Arena Season will end on April 1st at 19:00.

Eligibility requirements (you WILL NOT receive rewards if any of the following apply):

• Personal rating is not within 150 of your team rating.
• You have less than 70% of the team’s games played.
• Extreme MMR dropping, win-trading, or exploiting. Violations may lead to team disbanding, disqualification, and possible account disciplinary action.
• Gladiator titles in 3v3 require 2000+ rating.

Season end info: Arena points will be wiped at the close of season. Honor points will remain.

Ranks 2-5: Gladiator title + 50 coins per qualifying member

Rank 1: Deadly Gladiator title + Deadly Gladiator's Frost Wyrm mount
Rank 1: of each class: Supreme title
Top 1% of top 30% (rating above 1600): Gladiator title

Any chance we can get a PTR to practice the raids, like for all previous raids since AQ?
Onyxia is a first time wow experience for many players, so the ability to practice and make raids smoother, while having something to do before next phase release would be really appreciated.
Leveling and gearing a character(or multiple, for some of us) on Icecrown would take too much time, effort and coordination and leaving too little lockouts to practice the Ulduar, on top of lacking the same ability to experiment that PTR provides.

Information on Ulduar PTR availability would be greatly appreciated.

give us a ptr or its another failed phase , also keep HM the same way it has always been

Naxx launch went fine without PTR. Ulduar should be fine as well. That's really the whole point of PTR is to find bugs.

Launching a PTR would only serve as a method for players to practice and choreograph raids before launch as well as find tricks or exploits. That only removes from the progression experience.

It won't be fine without a decent PTR? if u have looked at the state it's in on Icecrown u'd understand a ptr is necessary.

You and rest of people complaining about Easter, what does warmane have to do with your religion? Is it because you have to spend time away from the game and with your families? If so no reason to complain, warmane will not suit your religous needs. Weird people xd

Pretty soon we will have to schedule releases around everyone's birthdays and anniversaries. We will never be able to play the game lol.
