Invalid new password

Hello, I recently recovered my account and requested a password reset so i can access it again. Once I gained access I went to the settings tab to change the provisory password assigned to me and when trying to make my new password I got a warning message saying "Invalid new password provided, try again.". No matter what kind of password I attempted to enter, following the instructions for making a password, I got the same error message. Currently the only way I have to access the account is to copy and paste the provisory password assigned to me every single time, which can be a hassle.
