Finding A Guild

Hey everyone,

I’ve been playing Warmane for about 2 months now and I’ve realized I really enjoy Onyxia because of the faster pace and the ability to casually play with my kid (11). Normally I tank while my kid heals, and we’ve been running low level dungeons together. It’s been a lot of fun, but I do miss the original experience of playing WoW with other adults too.

I’ve tried joining a few “social” and “leveling” guilds, but many seem focused on advertising other servers/services or they end up not being English-speaking guilds. And just to be clear, I’m not against international guilds at all — I actually think the diversity in this community is really cool. I’d just personally like to find a relaxed English-speaking guild with casual adults who enjoy leveling, dungeons, chatting, and just having fun with the game.

I’ll also be honest and say that as a woman, this game can sometimes feel harder socially. I usually don’t mention my gender, but once people hear my voice on mic, that’s often when the slurs and weird behavior start. So I figured I’d come onto the forums and see if there’s a more welcoming place for people like me.

If anyone knows a guild recruiting, or has advice on finding a community that’s welcoming to women and younger kids, I’d really appreciate it.
