That's because a stronger heart doesn't have to work as hard to pump enough blood. Thing is, though, the bottom end of the "normal" spectrum is 60, while the top end is 100.

I was watching some random music videos in youtube, then I saw this song.
This was my husband's band demo music back in 2003, he was one of the guitarists of the band called ill-advise. Their drummer who was the leader of the band died in a car crash in Las Vegas. They made this video as a tribute to him. I just remember the day I first saw my husband, he was onstage playing this song. Just thought I'd share it.

For healthy average person who dont stay at home whole time, BPM should be a bit less then 70. More about 60 average. About mine BPM. I have trained exspecialy for that. Most of marathon and ultra marathon runner have like that. Ofcourse im not in that class, but still i run long enough per week. And yes, i have visited "normal doctor" and he were shocked and almost wanted call ambulance. After that i checked doctor who specialized for trained runners. He said thats almost perfectly normal. Funny thing about my running. I look funny between long distance runners. Why? Im 2.01m long :D
