Guys think I'm "intimidating". What does it mean from a guy perspective? Ugly? Too different?

Context helps a lot, because I could be wrong about this, but it usually means that you are either attractive or aggressive in appearance.

For me, I imagine an intimidating person as someone who seems unapproachable either because they seem cold or just so far out of my normal social circle.

To better understand why guys think you are intimidating, think about Tomoko - your avatar. In the series/manga, she expects to get popular or make friends by being approached. Life doesn't work like that. I'm sure some people would say she is pretty intimidating. If she started approaching people, 1. she would get better at socializing and 2. she would start making more friends.

Maybe you're just a wholly unpleasant person from afar and you give off a 'I hate everyone, go **** yourself' vibe.
