That keyboard is $160, you use it EVERYDAY and mechanical keyboards have a life expectancy much longer than your normal keyboard. Why not spend more and get a nice one?Quote:

Mechanical keyboards in theory have a longer life expectancy. In reality, it all depends more on the user. An awful user will still ruin a mechanical one faster than a careful user with a dome-switch or whatever one. Still, in this specific case, you'll be paying more for the totally pointless lights and the Razer brand than because it's mechanical.
$5 stuff, best stuff.
Ohh keybaords... In the past 2 years, this is keyboard number 5.
And it's the most expensive and an absolute dream to type on.
Function > style > pretty colour lights.
A keyboard has to be something that can deal with the button mashing I employ onto it..
Razer mechanical keyboards are not top-notch in quality. They don't even use original Cherry MX Switches. They use fake ones and this has been proven as well so yea.
Even though my favorite type of music is EDM, I feel like a Rock concert would be so much better than a Electro Rave or whatnot...
