Yeah, but it appeals to casuals. And I'm not saying casual to insult anyone. It's simply a fact that Dota is much harder than LoL. Dota has a lot more mechanics, it's very unforgiving and I'd say there is a lot more strategy involved because it is so unforgiving since you can not **** up or waste a single second.

I've played three games of LoL and I'm confident that I could destroy anyone that plays LoL religiously.

But since the learning curve for Dota is really intense, most people just quit because they're going to suck *** for the first 100-200 games that they play. That's also why Smite is so appealing. But Smite is a different game altogether and it's a great game for what it is.

While I do agree that LoL has much more appeal to casuals because you can actually go in, play and your abilities do **** and aren't impossible to land... Having a low skill floor doesn't mean there isn't a high skill celling.

Dota imo is much more about positioning and a ****load of game knowledge since when you get caught you get instagib'd in 2 seconds. That means that the counterplay in dota is actually pre-emptively (is that even a word?) outplaying your opponents. I've only watched a few tournaments and Youtube clips so I'm not doto expert but thats what ive seen so far, I might be wrong.

Now the thing about league is that it is a much more mehcanicaly heavy game. If you get caught in a 2v1 situation with certain *cough* champions (heros). Even if you get stunned you can actually turn it around and go for a double kill while being similar in items. And on the highest level of play there is a lot of kitting and orb-walking on teamfights in order to win. Rarely you'll see a team get insta-gib'd in 2 seconds (it can happen tho).

All in all I like both games, for me League was easier to learn due to the huge skill difference there was back on the Dota2 beta. While I still concider dota to be a "harder to play" game, I don't have a veredict on which one is "harder to master"

well, if you think dota 2 is so ****ing hard, maybe lol is too ****ing hard for you too. if you were good, you would not be matched vs bad casuals. only the few top percentage of LoL players are plat+ or diamod+ so if you want to play wth skilled people, git gud newb

How do people make those cool looking char avatars (Like kemi's, yoda's, shat's) ... WoW model editor ? It doesn't work for me Q.Q (Or I'm too retartet to use it)

You need a retail client with WOD to use the newer one that I use. Also you cannot have that wow client you are using open.

Bah.. can't be bothered.. Downloading retail with 400 kb/s would take days...
