It's the other way around for me. I used to have a clean shave, but my gf likes beards so I started to grow one. I never really had a beard before, so it's kinda wierd to me :<

Mine still looks like that of a 17 years old teen, some few disordered hairs which look like they just started growing.
Now that I remember, my father wasn't much of a beardy. It has never bothered me though.

A ton of friends bought into the PoE beta and it creates a huge urge in me to purchase access too. Why is this game so damn tempting...

Actually you're the lucky one. Whenever I clean shave, my stubble is back in less then 24 hours and makes me look like chit. If i shave daily my skin gets irritated as hell. That's why I stopped caring.
