in Frost i got 8.15 in unholy got 7.74
afffff time to go UH .-.
why time to go uh?
yes yesterday was doing a good dps more than frost ^^
especially with that exploiting 60 % passive haste which allows frost dks to spam their spells although that passive auras should only increase melee speed and not haste overall ---> increasing rune regneration --> gg
thats been since 4.0.6 and still nabs play it defending their bugged mechanics ...if u wanna take a superioir lvl play uh and learn the control of it ...moreover SS is double diped by resilience hitting less than it should
So , just because molten fixed something broken and op into something blizz-like , everybody gonna roll unholy or ditch obliterate because of downtime ( which is stupid , because in retail people were still playing with obliterate glyph + annhilitation as master frost ).
This give me an idea of how molten players are.
Frost still do alright (I still get top damage in BG with modest gear, when my team don't absolutely suck) but there's really no reason to go frost anymore. Their only advantage in PvP now is that Howling Blast is long range, which is fairly significant and makes things easier, but Unholy is now better in pretty much every other way (though their lack of a powerful long range does require some adjusting, especially in BG). Oh, and Unholy did have better stationary DPS even before this "nerf." This has nothing to do with QQing about the fix or hating the class due to losing to one and never actually playing the class, this is just from my observations of playing both spec.
Frost WAS better in PvP, those who told you otherwise were Unholy fanboys or had never actually played the two specs here and were only spouting what they hear about retail (happens a lot here). Their only disadvantage was that Howling Blast can break CC, which can be pretty significant considering CC and CC chains dominate arena in this game. Necrotic Strike spam, damage, uptime, dealing with kiters, survivability, Frost was better in everything due to rune regeneration. They were very powerful but far from being the most OP or easy to play class, that role belongs to Hunters and still does (especially with the melee delay bug, which is apparently very very difficult to fix, otherwise it would had been fixed long ago considering its priority).
