We use swamp coolers for cooling down the house, one outside the house can make the entire house about 60-70F in an hour or so, it just uses water and some electricity. Doesn't work with high humidity, though.Quote:

The weather here is pretty nice, barely goes over 100 degrees in the summer and barely goes below zero in the winter. The only month that can really suck is July, since it's the monsoon season and the humidity goes up, reducing the effectiveness of the swamp cooler. Every other time of the year we are 15-25% humidity.
