I heard California has **** Chipotles. But Cali does have real Mexican food.
Ahhh, I was telling Ricks the other day how AMAZING Florida is with our famous Cuban meals. In SoCali, everything is Mexican. I am not really exposed to. :/ I was telling him Cuban food is beyond amazing. A good Cuban restaurant, in Florida, is a small family owned mom and pops restaurant in a Cubano community. I got a Cuban sandwich here in Cali and it was freaking depressing. Also, their fried chicken. Pathetic.
I went to a bakery here and asked if they had Cuban bread. "**** it I'll make my own Cuban sandwich" mentality. The baker was like, "What is Cuban bread?" Q________Q
I've only been to Miami a few times but apparently that's where the real Cuban food is at. There is a mom & pop Cuban place not too far from my house but it's real gross. Filthy restaurant and just...never again. But if I ever go to Miami, I'll be sure to keep driving until I get lost and I can't read the road signs and then I'll look for a real Cuban restaurant lol.
Yeah, here I went to a Beef O' Bradies. I was like, "OH **** a Beef O' Bradies in Cali?!" I sat down, read the menu. "Omg they serve Cuban sandwiches!?" It was served as French bread and no pork? Lol.
I forgot, but somewhere near down town Tampa I went with my dad. We went to a delicious mom and pops restaurant in a Cubano community. It was delightful. But never had Cuban food in Miami, sadly. We need more Cubans to float up there in blow up pool donut floats.
Spoiler:Show
That all sounds disgusting...
What happened to good food?
Awe. I didn't know. I always thought it was normal. :c
How do you build yours?
Yeah it's pico. I don't like it (I hate onions), but I like tomatoes.
I need to get Ricks to join here in this convo. He hates 99.99% restaurant meals here. To him it seems insanely greasy and overly sized proportional. OH and everything taste like sugar here. He proudly mentions about himself, "Kemii and I have a similar European taste in food." :P
I-I don't know. I DON'T KNOW THESE THINGS.
I was ****ing excited when I got to London. I was like, "**** YEAH...FISH & CHIPS *****". ****ing went to TWO DIFFERENT PLACES AND THEY ****ING SUCKED.
Jk
Fish was 5.5/10
You guys have a delicious Mcdonalds though.
A burrito sounds really good now.
I just thought **** it and I'm going on the date tomorrow. We're just going to Nandos and then we might go to the cinema, it depends on what he wants to do.
This will be my first ever date. Nobody's ever taken me out for a meal before, I'm nervous c;
Like what are the dos and don'ts on a first date?
I JUST CAN'T
Same here. Last year my Halloween costume was my face, nobody appreciated it.
I don't like lettuce in burritos because I think the texture clashes and find slightly warm lettuce pretty gross. I like:
brown rice
black beans
steak
all 3 salsas
cheese
guac
But hey the whole point of their service style is to get precisely which ingredients you personally want. I do wish they had Spanish rice though.
But the British have the absolute worst food
except maybe the Irish, **** me, not a single spice to be found there
That seems appropriate. I would just steer away you going to his home or him going to your home afterwards.
I would recommend just being yourself. If you're not a girly girl and don't wear dresses, then don't dress up. I am the type that loves dolling myself up. Don't do anything that you feel forced to do, to feel like you have to impress him. Stay calm throughout the experience, even though it might be impossible to do. For me since I am an American, it is always nice asking to split the bill. But, I never had to pay anyways.
I feel ya gur. 7 years I haven't dressed up for Halloween. My costume was just face. Maybe this year I will. :3
