Lucas, the main character, is accused of molesting his friends daughter. The whole town turns on him. He didn't do it but once an accusation like that is out there, it just ruins your life. You can't really fight against it or disprove it. Watching it I wanted to be mad at the townsfolk for how they treat him but I can't honestly say I'd react any differently. It's a really emotional movie, I liked it.

Edit: Found a better trailer, I grabbed the first one I saw last time.
