Today's restart reseted the respawn. Found him at Bor's Breath, 15:31 server time (Frostwolf).
He was flying, and I couldn't aggro him to a safe location, he always reseted.
Some douchebag came and attacked him, killed him, and he fell through the ground >.<
As I said, he was flying, but only between the two "walls" of the subzone.
what's the respawn time in frostwolf?
After yesterday's horrible events, I thought I would get up early today and take a round or two around the Peaks.
Got a PUG for queueing up for RDF normal, and after a few laps, I decided to make one last. At halfway from Ulduar spawnpoints towards the Camp Tunka'lo spawnpoint (northern side of the mountain which the camp is on) I thought I give up, I'll stick to the green proto (if drops).
Then BAM, NPCscan went off, AND A DUNGEON POPPED! I started shaking, my adrenaline went up... I left queue, as well as left the party (sorry random PUG whom I left there!), and started to find a way to aggro him without him clipping the terrain. Put a Corruption on him, and he finally came to the ground without resetting aggro.
Killed him, looted, and now I'm happy :)
There was no one else there, but I was shaking anyway for a minute :D
Killed him at 8:13 server time, Frostwolf.

Do not kill over ice , kill him on hard land , if not he can go true ice and disappear under ice
and be lost , yea takes time is not 5 minutes thing, takes long time , to help use NPC scan
is add-on , like having a radar on you for rare npcs.
I prefer leveling archaeology over hunting for this mount,had a ton of vyragosa kills and the only time i get to kill this guy he falls trough the map...so yes..leveling archaeology sounds so good.

Seems like the "TLPD" ("Time-Lost Police Department") is out in FULL effect, make sure you have gear BEFORE hunting the Time-Lost Proto Drake.....

Its 1 hour respawn time guys remember start counting 1 hour after the body of Vyragosa/TLPD disappears(despawn) and check all the respawn points

It is NOT always 1 hour between respawns, sometimes it is MUCH, much longer. It's a bummer if you a hunting the TLPD during peak hours (when the queues are like 400+) and NPC Scan goes off for TLPD/Vyragosa (it's worse when they are already dead) and you know that you have to exit the WoW client to clear the cache so NPC Scan can alert you again (LOL). Good thing is that it "usually" doesn't take an hour to get through the queue so if TLPD/Vyragosa respawns in an hour (instead of longer), you should still be good to go. You can always donate and have at least 50+ minutes to get back in and check :)Quote:

Some people can be so weird, players like Brutallizer are one of the reason I have yet to raid with others, if I can't do it myself (for the time being), oh well.
this in correct the server has a auto save feature so if the TLPD is dead when there is a shut down or crash it will also be dead upon coming back onlineQuote:

@wieszak Yes it drops everytime but its bind's on pickup.
@trinity Maybe you count 1 hour after you killed Vyra/TLPD you must count 1 hour after the body disappeared
