I have killed TLPD/Vyragosa back to back before and sometimes it took MORE than 1 hour for either of them to spawn again, I'm NOT talking about 1 hour and some odd number of minutes (like 1 hour, 13 minutes), I'm talking about HOURS (more than 1) for a respawn.Quote:

Among the facets of my techniques such as it taking me less than 5 minutes to visit ALL of the spawn locations (amongst other things), chances are pretty solid that when either TLPD or Vyragosa spawns, I can/will know it if I am in The Stormpeaks.
Here are some examples of more than 1 hour TLPD/Vyragosa respawn times:
After killing TLPD/Vyragosa myself, it took 72 minutes for the next spawn to occur, then after killing the next TLPD/Vyragosa respawn myself, it took 83 minutes for the next spawn to occur, after killing the next TLPD/Vyragosa myself, it took 63 minutes for the next spawn to occur. The cases were BACK TO BACK and I was in the exact spot where the next spawn occurred each time so I'm pretty sure that the times are accurate. Also in each case I killed the spawn immediately.
If the time for the next spawn to occur was EXACTLY 1 hour as has been previously stated, it would have taken a total of 180 minutes for all 3 spawns to occur, in my case it took a total of 218 minutes. Let's just say I was off by 5 minutes each spawn, that would drop the total down to 213 minutes. Now let's say I was off by 10 minutes, that would drop the total down to 188 minutes, that's still 8 minutes OVER the alleged 180 minute for 3 respawns (a person being in the exact spawn spot 3 times consecutively and immediately killing the spawn).
I won't say the spawn time has changed, I would say that the alleged spawn time wasn't accurate in the first place.Quote:

I box 5 at a time, but this is enough to cover the spawn points. Each character covered two or three spawn points. I didn't experience the respawn timer to be exactly 1 hour as solakar says, more like 1 hour 10 minutes on average. It didn't seem to be constant.
I'm not trying to dissuade anyone from farming. I got mine, let them get theirs.
If you saw him spawn 83 minutes after the last corpse disappeared then I guess we have a maximum. That's longer than I've seen. Do you have anything supporting the multiple hour spawn?Quote:

Actually it takes a couple of minutes for a corpse (in this case TLPD/Vyragosa) to despawn and it takes me less than that to "service" the spawn points.Quote:

Well everythin is true in this guide,respawn is 1 hour,and drakes are respawnin immediatly after server crash....I saw 7 vyragosa today( 2 was after server crash,and others were about 1 hour ),cause neltharion had crashes every 1 min. I killed one,almost killed second but server crashed,and i found proto drake dead at engine of makers 1 hour after last vyragosa is killed...Its much easier to find it then in wotlk :)
