Thanks, I needed to know that

Well, you can only die in a plane crash once.
If it happens this time, you're set and safe.

I'm not sure what scares me most:
- Flying for the first time
- Going to a different country (got scarred after Greece)
- Eating too many kebabs

Honestly I don't really fear dying as much as I fear not being able to see my friends and loved one again... Imo I'd rather live crippled and be able to see her smile again than die... but hay, everyone has their thing, I won't judge.

But that wouldn't be you, it'd be nothing more than a shadow that others would find hard to have alongside and the reality is they'd rather have you rest in peace.

Anyway, if you compare number of plain crashes(+people dying in them) vs car crashes(+people dying in them) you have nothing to worry about.

If you compare the number of people killed by sharks and people killed by falling from their bed, you'll know beds are far more dangerous than sharks.

I don't see everyone owning and driving their own private planes :/

My favorite is when you hit some crazy turbulence and you can feel the plane drop in altitude. It's almost like a roller coaster c:

Nah. I trust the pilots and the aircraft 100%. I just love people watching when we hit turbulence. It's fun watching people react as if they only have a few minutes left to live.

It's tons more scary when plane suddenly drops in altitude directly after start...especially when it happens for a long time and plane tries to climb....
