Nothing is wrong in what you're doing. Problem is that your role/class can be replaced by a better one that fits into the raid comp. Now, every people would like to have a progression, even if it's a pug or not, the easiest way to achieve it is to have the best raid comp available. It's sad that not all classes are welcome to any raid. But yeah enhancement shamans are fun to play, but I'd suggest to go Resto/Ele, you'd probably get in every raid you wanted with those 2 spec's.

Thats the main problem. Enhance shami would be a great supporter because of 10% ap, haste and strength totem. I think no other class can provide so many buffs to the raid. The only problem is that mm hunter and frost dk provide the same buffs and these two classes are the most common one in the game and in every raid present.
