Going to donate to this server in a few days. What are wise coin investments?

In all srsness, what you should buy also depends on how much are you gonna donate. Id like to mention that on warmane almost every piece of gear is obtainable in-game. Spending some coins on them speeds up your gearing process and gives you the time advantage. Not sure what the state of lolmourne and loldary is right now but if anything they are pretty damn expensive, and the loldary cata dags actually require you to put some effort into playing to even get it. So disregard all notions of "pay2win".

This is class A bullcrap. A good feral is always welcome in any raid, especially 25er. The problem is, there aren't many good ferals.

To OP, as most said, bis weapon + trinkets first. Rest is not that hard to get.

Actually pay to win involves having items which are either practically impossible to get without paying (before they no longer matter) or actually impossible to get without paying, you should probably look up definitions in the future to avoid looking like a total fool.

At least people claiming pay to win are honest about one thing: the lack of significant skill in WoW pvp (I assume anyone talking about pay to win is talking about PvP side since you can't "win" pve just finish it... and do the exact same thing another 100 times to get your drops rofl)

Given the derisive tone of most people shouting pay to win (where there is none) one is led to believe they actually think that they are some how "superior", a status which is (in their minds) only achieveable by wasting (or being in the process of wasting) 500+ hours (10h a week for a year+) on monotonous and boring raids.

You keep your "superiority", I'll keep my life thx.... and take yours ingame too ;)

#1/2 Sharpened Twilight Scale Heroic/Oathbringer
#3 DBW Heroic

Tired of seeing so many people getting DBW HC as only donated item... especially when it is as a paladin :x

in MoP there are no "items that are either practically impossible to get without paying" in regards to giving any advantage (gear)

I'm not taking about mounts, pets, etc.. except some of those, you can get all items in game

the staff is careful about what they sell, 'coz warmane's only competitive advantage is the huge population it has, and most of them dont donate.

if they start selling items only accessible with real money, the population will leave for better scripted servers.

pay to win = be lazy or unskilled and use money to shortcut your way into getting items that are easily gotten by any skilled player

"ergo" learn to read between the lines, maybe take some reading comprehension lessons to "to avoid looking a fool yet again"

If you want to get serious, buy mounts that can only be bought by coins, i.e. Celestial Steed or Heart of the Aspects. Otherwise buy hard-to-get or extremely rare mounts "like the one that drops from the Lich King", to quote the two posts above me. ;)
