I guess you could argue that 35/40€ is rather cheap for a 310% mount considering they're hard to come by ingame and if you compare the price to some of the other mounts on the shop but meh..
I doubt they would be able to obtain and maintain the hardware they currently have without any form of donations and we all knew that mounts will appear in their store from the very beginning ;)
First let me say - love the server, and the staff has the right to make money in the ways that they best see fit from a business perspective.
However, I heavily disagree with this decision. This will be extremely disappointing for the pvp community. Gladiator mounts are some of the most coveted items in the game, it gave players something to strive for. Retail blizzard fell apart because they made the game too easy and gave out too many handouts. It made nothing special anymore.This is how this feels. I'm fine with buying mounts like spectral tiger, but this really bothers me. But in the end the if the staff wants to make money this way they have the right.

Shiny mounts are game-breaking. Shiny mounts give 20k bonus damage per hit.
I laugh so hard when seeing these threads pertaining to mounts. All it involves is wining like little babies. Why on the ****ing earth does it even matter if Sam and Bob have a mount you cant get because either A. you don't have enough money to buy it, or B. your gear sucks too much to even get it. Simply get a job and then donate, ask your parents for money, or grind your way to freedom mount land. For ****s sakes, do you even know what a mount is made of? Simply put... a mesh of textures placed on a 3d model that takes you from A to B. I myself don't give a flying ****. I just transform into a bird a fly off. I probably won't even buy another mount much less care if I got one. Its like high-school kids with their ****ty decked/pimped out cars/trucks that are all given to them by their parents money. Spoiled brats.
