/join LFG

All what we need is limit of 1 msg per 15 seconds on channel designed for LFG and it will be all fine.

Do a broadcast message, or when you create a character you have directly the channel /LFG + /Global implemented on your char

Problem is, people who spam want visibility. If we do all this, people will just spam in two channels instead.

^ yep this would indeed happen . So what other options are there?.. i basically have to Spam to fight the spam so players can see that i am Looking for more for my group.

You are correct, but if someone spams in LFG i can put him on ignore.

At the moment it wouldn't be wise to put everyone on ignore who spams LFG in global.
