they've already said they won't consider merge deathwing/rag until after they get lords core, just incase some of lords population moves back to their home realm once it has the new core. so i wouldn't hold your breath waiting for a merge.

WE, the players of Deathwing, DO NOT, have a problem with population or playing our server like we have been for the last 4 years. I was originally from Old Lordaeron, and Ive noticed a majority of my fellow Old Lordaeron players have stayed on DW. With that being said, I have to say that WE do not like Ragnaros's community.
I'm sorry but previous the Moltdown, Ragnaros was viewed as the worst Wotlk server with the noobiest players. When transfers were open for Ragnaros players to transfer to Lordaeron we went through a ****-storm of players who didn't have a clue what they were doing. RHC was impossible to complete because there was always that one person from Ragnaros who didnt have a clue what they were doing, didn't understand their class because it took them 2 hours to go from 1-80. I encountered many ppl who didnt even understand the concept of Tanks and Healers. I leveled a toon on Ragnaros because my newbie friend couldn't level on Lordaeron. It was too hard for him. I, an experienced player, never finished a single RHC on Ragnaros and the other players would get excited they got 2 bosses down in The Nexus. Ragnaros's rate used to be x20 and bred a wave of morons who still more than likely exist over there. I do not desire to play with them. If DW and Rag are merged, I will go back to Lordaeron.
Can you show me were they said they would merge the servers? Ive seen multiple times were they have said they have no plans to ever merge DW and Rag, regardless of core, never have i seen them say they would merge after the new core is implemented.Quote:

You can not make 2 of the same, since this will be for 1 year or so until the hype calms down, obviously there will be stuff to do since im sure no one will ever do ICC HC with 300% hp increase on bosses, and other harder-than-retail stuff. The people playing on those other servers have their own rights as well no? They like it how it is now for a reason, won't mean that all of them suddenly stay if you release another realm like lord and "force" them into it.
and you pretty much nailed everything I hated about Rag to. Even when an experienced player like myself would try to get into a group for Heroics or even the Normal ICC dungeons (FoS/PoS) I'd just get bombard with replies about my gear score not being over the group leaders request and laughed at because even though I could sit there and explain every encounter, I just wasn't good enough for them. Rag just wasn't for the noob players, but also for the over paranoid players that didn't mind donating and spending VP in CS to buy any item level and still manager to screw up the game for many other players.Quote:

How is having an opinion absurd? You're reasoning that my opinion is absurd is absurd. I don't know how you got so butt hurt over some random guy posting an opinion, but you really need to learn to control your emotions better because I can assure you there are always going to be people that don't share the same opinion as you and you storming in here going, "blah blah blah, i'm so emo and don't like people to disagree with, blah blah blah" is actually what's absurd. Yes people have wifes, kids, jobs, etc but they get to play on a free server and they should make it last as much as possible instead of cheating their way to endgame. When I played on Ragnaros (and frostwolf) it was one of the most toxic and vile servers (community wise) that I have ever seen and that right there is what makes x12 servers bad because when you can just zip to endgame in 2 hours there's nothing there to stop you from cheating, there's nothing there to stop you from ninja looting, or treating people like garbage and you are absolutely one of the most vile and toxic people on the forums here and I have no idea how you've managed to dodge a perma ban.Quote:

As much as I enjoy the leveling experience and the feeling of completing a challenge (I only ever donated once for one weapon, I suppose I worked for my gear or just poor xD), it doesn't change the fact people have different taste. Three realms are good and if we changed the rates like before I would feel that's the best way to give players a choice on where they would fit in best. It's partly why I don't quite agree with lord because its making players feel forced to choose only one server for the core and not how they want to play. If someone prefer end game they should have a server where they can go quick and have at it. Just like those who want x1 should have a place to progress and take time with. I originally started on old lord and now? I like faster servers as well, they have their advantages and offers a different kind of play style.
Point is there isn't a reason to merge nor make another x1 server unless there is major demand and the other cores are updated so once the dust settles, the population can choose where to go. However it would still be wrong to gimp us of our work (speaking for deathwing since I mainly play there) ,toons, progress, and etc. I don't mind starting fresh but remember, moltdown happened and we had to start fresh already. I didn't even get my old server back and may never get it back. Yet you get to enjoy the new one and get all the attention of staff on new lord. Now I'm feeling salty :p.
Tldr: ramble ramble, have fun, old ragnaros trolls, we are unique snowflakes, deathwing and ragnaros players don't want to lose our work despite how the *****s treated you.
Having RDF also ruins it for some people. I think Warmane took both views into consideration when they launched Lordaeron without RDF. I mean seriously, what is the point of Debugging all those quest if people are just going to sit in capital and que for dungeons?Quote:

Nope, but that's completely for WM staff to decide how they wanna make profit off of Lord. Personally I'd pay good money each month to access their server, say maybe $10 USD's? I mean WoW Retail is 15 a month and that's with current content and everything working as it should be. Seems pretty fair and makes the system seem a lot less greedy.
