I've got 6 fully geared toons on Cata. Wouldn't you get stressed if someone said they were thinking of making them go away?

This foreshadows my brother's old post in the past, ironically it was about neltharion.
No decision has been made yet, as you can see in the news it's only a proposition from us. There is no need for harsh statements.
They're going away in the way that enh shamans are no longer BiS with No Khaled's. Paladins are no longer top tier dps. Change of mechanics. Peope play cata for this too you know. It's not an upgrade if one of your toons had the best burst in the game and suddenly it loses that potential due to a different balance scheme.
QQ I roll classes to be op, now I won't be anymore QQ.
In all seriousness though, if the cata players wanted to play MoP, they could just play Frostwolf. The fact that there still is a community left on Neltharion is testament to people there wanting to play Cata, not MoP
I'm very glad to have Neltharion. I think they could just import some of the bug fixes from WOTLK, though- for example, hunter pets work well in WOTLK servers, but they go passive randomly and don't re-spawn a lot when you die in bgs in Cata. Why not just import the hunter pet coding from WOTLK?
I cast my vote for cata, simply because if I'd wanted to play mop again, I would've gone and played mop. I didn't like mop on retail, I sincerely doubt I'll like it on any private server either. If they throw out cata, I'll probably just not be playing anymore. Not because I've "donated for cata" or "have bis toons that I've worked really hard for" or any of that, there will be compensation for that I'm sure, that's fine; but rather, because I thought mop was trash and have no desire to play it again.
I think Cata was definitely the most fun expansion just for doing regular bgs and stuff- the classes were more skillful than in either WOTLK or MoP. In WOTLK, there's a lot of times when you die to some dumb skill-less mechanic like a shadow priest spamming devouring plague or a ret paladin with a castsequence macro for their few damaging abilities. In MoP, they handed out all kinds of skill-less OP goodies like second wind, burst of speed, stampede, psyfiend, paralytic poison and my personal favorite, that dumb warlock succubus pet with a cc with no cooldown (how that one ever got approved I'll never know).
I think Cata was the sweet spot for pvp- people don't think of it very highly because its pve and lore was way behind WOTLK, but the pvp was really good imo.
