Are rogues supose to be this weak at pve?

That is what I went with, and my rotation was Ambush-Ghostly-SnD. I went down the Sub tree first util I got the 2 points into +Crit Ambush, the switched over to the combat tree, As opped to something like this -

where if you do not like the idea of reentering stealth to ambush, or feel as though you do not like it, you can swap out the dagger for a larger main hand DPS weapon to increase your SinStrike.

The ghostly strike gives you the ability to take less damage, as well as being able to brawl 2-3 mobs at a time if you manage your cooldowns effetively, such as ghostly strike-evasion-ghostly strike.

You will notice that your Sinister strike DPS is down, which will be top 3 damage dealing spells underneath your Auto attacks, but the ambush will make up for the lack of damage from sinister strike, and your auto attacks will generally attack quicker and faster leading to more Instand Poison strikes.

All in all, its about the same as going pure combat + 2 non dagger weapons + mace/sword spec, the only difference is you are more of a rogue as it feels to playing instead of not using stealth while you are combat spec. All the damage will roughly add up to the same if you use your skills correctly; you will need to re-enter stealth in order to apply those ambushes which are crucial to the spec and damage, but it will just be in different places. I actually do not like combat, because it takes the stealth out of being a rogue.

I mean I leveled as sub from 10+ and I didn't find it to be too much of a grind. Do yourself a favor and level first aid and buy food. I was consistently killing 3 mob packs with no issues and up to 5-6 mobs without eating. Take some time and play around with whats quickest for you.
