Sounds like it's happening on all servers, not just Lor. There's a few new active threads on the main support forum

I had the same problem yesterday, and I'm getting it again today. I hope they find out what's causing this.
still can't log in, going on an hour
problems seems to have finally resolved, I can now log in to Lordaeron
I think the problem is that the character is still "online" in the server. Like some kind of limbo. My friend got disconnected, but still showed as online in my party. Could not reconnect untill the character was "offline" ingame? But the strange thing is that this only happens to some people. I have had many disconnects but I can allways get right back in.
