I would switch to a PVE server; i really don't care for forced pvp.
as far as logistics of a new server...... i don't know what it would take so don't know what to say to that.

They stated multiple times no pve servers. Not much of a difference between the two and no reason to divide the community when its not much of a issue tbh
I've been on this server since DAY ONE. after the 80 cap came out we seen pops from 7-8k to ALWAYS 10-11k max during the US day hours. Night hours it dropps to a low 3-4k but still split the lowest 2k each would be fine for night time pop. Splitting an always 10k pop wouldnt hurt anyone and thats as low as it gets. Hell if it becomes too bad just merge them agian in the future. Just my opinion I think this is a great idea, Possibly allow server transfer after all the REALM firsts go out.Quote:

I see the point about a new server the numbers are crazy right now.... and making it bigger it would be no fun to play (leveling,farming etc will be a pain) i might suggest if there would be a new realm it would be nice that we can transfer there (ofc), ... cuz i dont think a lot of players want to start again .And we might get one big pop 1x realm and one with lower rep..
would be awsome to see what happends.

How is there no difference. There is a big difference between forced and optional PvP. Some people just want to play without constantly looking behind their backs or in the sky if someone will attack them.Quote:

The only difference is one makes you flagged more for pvp. That's it. A whole different realm to develop, work on, and devote other resources to just to change your flag status. I personally would like a pve servers. But I understand as a person who doesn't spend a dime for upkeep and seeing all the stuff the small staff are working on that it is both not needed and just not a big priority.

Look, Nost did it and their PvE realm was doing just fine. And this was vanilla, where rerolling a character is a huge pain the ***. I think that warmane's PvE realm would also be a success, there is a serious lack of PvE private servers, nowhere to run from that PvP cancer...
It would probably bring even more players here, especially those who don't even want to start on Lord because of the queues/overpopulation and/or because they hate world PvP.
Not to mention that warmane is the only wortwhile WotLK server right now...
Be Happy that you can play on such a populate server and almost bug free server for FREE!
That's resources, time, and more for a realm with not much of a difference and that would take away from already stretched resources if it is how it seems. They were gonna close cata .They are merging two realms. They are looking to consolidate and improve not open another realm for anything short of a good idea or something that would be beneficial to all, not just pve players. I may be assuming but I'm sure they either agree or post their own opinion and reasons, which is their server and choice ultimately to do so.
Go donate! Want another server? Give them money for that! Want shorter queues? Give them money so they can get increase the cap.
Can't donate? Well how do you expect them to get money for these things then? :)

I love the server and I have donated simply because I am having fun again and really appreciate the effort you guys are doing in keeping this service up and free.
